Job Description

As Strategic Partner Manager, you are responsible for developing and managing Clustervision’s partner and supplier relationships. By working with well considered and chosen suppliers you ensure that ClusterVision sources only highest quality materials under the best possible conditions, you ensure a solid supply chain, a strong strategic position and competitiveness on the short and long term.
By setting up good relationships with the suppliers’ product marketing and sales teams you make sure we stay close to possible opportunities in the market.

Furthermore, you are responsible for delivery performance by making efficiency improvements and realizing cost reductions of supplier operations. Meanwhile, you enhance a smooth and fruitful cooperation with ClusterVision’s sales department. Other tasks in this role include:

  • Set up strategic alliances – goto market together with partners;
  • Negotiate prices, terms and conditions and document these in the form of contracts with suppliers;
  • Bring in innovations from the supply base;
  • Manage and coach the Procurement officer;
  • Participate in trade fairs and events to show presence in the market;
  • Assist the sales team in order to close important deals
  • Ensure that all required reporting is accurate and received in a timely manner
  • Ensure that the CRM system is kept up to date;

 

Desired skills for this position

  • Bachelor/Master degree, preferably in Business or IT;
  • At least three years’ experience in a purchasing position and in an international, (Cloud) IT environment;
  • Ability to conduct negotiations at a detailed level;
  • Analytical in decision making;
  • Willingness to acquire and master new technical solutions
  • Excellent client-facing, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Strong internal communication skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment;
    Character and stature to gain confidence and trustworthiness;
  • Ingenious and persuasive;
  • Being driven to turn to good account each commercial opportunity!
